Jessica Blankshain is an assistant professor of National Security Affairs at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, RI and part-time lecturer at Boston University. She has a Ph.D. in political economy & government from Harvard University, and her research interests include civil-military relations, bureaucratic politics, and organizational economics. Dr. Blankshain teaches courses on U.S. foreign policy and national security, civil-military relations, and leadership.
