About Me:

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Trinity College Dublin. I received my B.A. and M.A. degrees from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey and my Ph.D. from Stony Brook University, NY, USA. My main fields of study are comparative political behavior and political psychology. My substantive research interests include religiosity, values and ideology, and attitudes towards redistributive policies. My work has appeared in journals such as American Political Science Review, British Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Political Behavior, and International Journal of Public Opinion Research. I am also winner of Turkish Academy of Sciences 2015 Young Scientist Outstanding Achievement Award (GEBIP) and Science Academy Young Scientist Award 2016.
