About Me:

Aubrey Grant is a doctoral candidate at George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government. Her research focuses on the role of public policy in addressing issues of immigration, forced migration, gender, and global health. At George Mason University, Aubrey works as a graduate research assistant, researching international migration and global health policies. She received her Master of Public Policy from American University’s School of Public Affairs, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Before she attended graduate school, Aubrey worked as a case manager, resettling refugees in Greensboro, North Carolina. In recent years, Aubrey has held various immigration advocacy and policy positions in Washington, D.C.
